SWCF has been established by carers to represent the voice of carers in Fermanagh and in the Omagh area. It offers support and advocacy for disabled people and their carers.
SWCF's objectives are:
To support, inform and enable parents/carers/families to carry out their caring roles.
To take the views and concerns of parents/carers/families to service providers and to engage in meaningful discussions for change.
To work as equal partners within the planning and delivery of services affecting adults and children with special needs, including the elderly, those with mental health problems, life limiting disease or disability.
To advocate on behalf of parents/carers/families.
To provide advice and training to service providers on the caring role.
