Established in 1981, Share is the largest activity centre on the island of Ireland attracting approximately 15,000 visitors each year, to its centre on Upper Lough Erne. The Share Centre works for the inclusion of disabled and non-disabled people by providing opportunities for all to participate in a wide range of educational and recreational outdoor pursuits, and creative arts programmes.
All services and facilities are available on both a residential and daily basis.
Visitors include, school, church, youth and community, statutory and private sector groups.
FOOL TIME FESTIVAL
Lisnaskea’s very own festival is coming up again on April 1st, 3pm. In preparation there will be workshops in circus skills and costume making.
This is our 3rd local community festival so let’s make it a good one.
Costume/Prop
March 5 – 9th.
7 – 9.30pm
Adults who work or know younger children (such as youth club leaders, parents, uncles, aunts etc). Mask making, costume, prop making. Supply kit will be given to each participant to use with their clubs/groups/family.
Puppet
March 13 – 16th.
10 -12.30pm
7 – 9.30pm
Adults/art teachers interested in making very large puppets to be worn on the day of the Festival.
Adults from local youth clubs etc wishing to learn and pass on puppet-making skills to their club members. A supply kit will be given to each participant to use with their clubs/groups/family and then take part in Festival
Costume:
March 20 – 23rd 10 - 12.30pm
2 sessions: 6.30 – 8pm and
8.30 – 9.30pm
Individuals who can sew and want to make costumes and hats to use on the day of the Festival.
children aged 5-8
children aged 9-14.
Make a prop or mask to wear at the Festival.
Circus
March 26 – 29th. 7 – 9pm
Streetwise Circus, 20 local young people. Stilt walking and juggling. Costumes supplied.
