LiveNet is a ground breaking exciting new project which aims to provide a range of learning opportunities to enable children, young people and adults with a learning disability, and their carers to use ICT (Information Communications Technology) to improve their lives.

Delivering workshops and setting up LiveNet clubs where particpants will use technology such as the internet, laptops, games consoles, digital cameras, iPods, mobile phones and social media  to improve their health, well being and fitness, improve access to information and connect with their community.

LiveNet is a joint initiative between Mencap, Citizens Online, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and BCS - IT Can Help programme and is funded with a grant from the Big Lottery Fund's Live and Learn programme.
LiveNet will run a range of activities including:
• ICT Fun Days
• ICT & health workshops
• ICT clubs
• healthy living events and activities
 
Through these activities we will empower people within the learning disability community to gain ICT skills, connect with their community and improve their overall health and wellbeing.
 
Workshops and club activities are happining throughout Fermanagh right now so get in touch if you want join in the fun.
 
We are also calling all volunteers to contact us and get involved in supporting people with a learning disability enjoy LiveNet activities.
