27 January 2010, UK Energy Research Centre - Second Call for Proposals Issued The UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC) has issued a second Call for Proposals under its £4.5 million Research Fund. It is seeking Expressions of Interest from universities or other institutions eligible to hold Research Council awards in the following four topic areas: Energy Security and International Governance. Transforming the UK Energy System: Public Values, Attitudes and Acceptability. Industrial Energy Use from a Bottom-Up Perspective. Investment and Business Models for Energy Services Provision in Households.

Consortium or single institution bids will be considered. Projects should normally be started by 1 October 2010 and are expected to last between one and two years. Expressions of Interest should be submitted to UKERC by the closing date of 12 February 2010.
