Ederney Community Development Trust (the Trust) was established in October 1990 with the objective of promoting social and economic development and the advancement of education and training in Ederney and the surrounding area.
   The Trust has over the years provided education and training programmes for individuals and provided work experience for the unemployed through the training and Employment agency schemes. The Trust is represented on the Fermanagh Community Education Forum looking at and promoting lifelong learning.
  The Trust Office has acted as an administrative centre providing computing, photocopying and faxing facilities to individuals and small businesses.
  The Trust has been involved in organising an annual cross-community festival.
  The Trust has raised the funding for the construction of a 6 bedroom Guest Inn and licensed restaurant (current out for planning permission).
  The Trust has successfully lobbied for the construction of Sheltered Housing Development (construction due to start spring 2005).
  The trust was instrumental in planning and implementing an environmental improvement scheme for the village in 2002.
