Cavan/Monaghan Rural Development Co-op is a community based NGO that acts as a single point of contact for rural development. The organisation has been awarded monies to deliver the "Tourism Without Borders" training initiative until February 2008. This initiative is supported by Border Action through the EU Peace II Programme and part-financed by the Irish Government under the NDP. Under previous Peace II funding the organisation delivered tourism training to 405 participants from across Cavan-Monaghan and the surrounding border counties.
